NCBEA seeks to promote and improve the quality of business education at all levels through membership activities and meetings and through cooperation with public and private educational agencies and institutions with related professional organizations and with business and industry. NCBEA conducts a yearly Annual Meeting and gathers concerns and information from business educators to be used in lobbying efforts. To keep you informed of events, activities, and research in business and office education, a newsletter is regularly published. We also recognize outstanding achievements of business and office educators in North Carolina. Finally, NCBEA provides information to the state staff that can be used to request funds for business education in planning in-service workshops across the state, in structuring business education programs, and in establishing certification standards.

We are an affiliate of the Southern Business Education Association (SBEA) and the National Business Education Association (NBEA).
